Warning: Sorry boys, this one might be a little uncomfortable for you.

“If men were the ones who got periods, tampons would be thrown free from floats like Mardis Gras beads,” Caroline from 2 Broke Girls.

Besides tampon Mardis floats, the tampon commercials would be better.

Marketing for “the time of the month” products are evidence that the marketing/advertising world is ruled by men.

White swimsuits, playing tennis, riding horses, and diving boards . . .need I say more?

Two companies are changing that.  HelloFlo  is the dollar shave club for lady parts.

Santa for period time.

Their commercial, featuring the youngest ‘camp gyno’ one of the best for ‘that time of the month’.

 

The only tampon commercial that comes close is Bodyform’s video below:

These are examples of amazing marketing.

Both create something fun out of a not very fun experience. Remarkable.
